We take your privacy seriously. Any information you share will remain strictly confidential, now and in the future.

No one from the New York City Housing and Vacancy Survey (NYCHVS) will ever ask for your social security number, your citizenship status, your personal information via email, for money or donations, or for any credit card information.

• You may skip any questions that you do not feel comfortable answering.
• Each Census Bureau Field Representative is sworn for life to protect your information and any violation of this oath carries substantial penalties.
